My Student is involved in Sports. Can they still apply to ETHOS?Absolutely! ETHOS Entrepreneurship Academy classes are two to three periods and part of a student's schedule.
My Son/Daughter is taking Honors/AP level Classes. Can they still join ETHOS?When it comes to math and science classes, students are able to join any level of Mathematics or Sciences. With how our classes are structured, we do require ETHOS students to take English and History classes at the same levels, as their content ties closer to business classes. In a student's Senior year, they are able to take History at any level they would like, but are required to be in the same English class.

Are there any ties between the ETHOS Academy and College Classes?Yes. One of Our local feeder community colleges, Moorpark, allows ETHOS in all 10th-12th Grade classes to operate as a Dual Enrollment class in the spring. ETHOS Students have a trend of Attending CS Northridge (CSUN), CSU Channel Islands (CSUCI), and Moorpark Community College. But of course, it's up to you where you want to go!
Why do I need to take seven classes some years? For those students who choose not to take a summer course, they may have seven classes on their schedule. A-Period Classes are sometimes able to mediate this if your child is enrolled in a sport. As a reminder, four year colleges require two or sometimes three years of a World Language.

Why Should My Student Join ETHOS?
The Academy opens up Opportunities such as job shadowing, internships, mentorships, conferences, and field trips. As an added bonus for completing the program, ETHOS students are seated at the front during Graduation, and get a special medallion and ribbon for their dedication. However, ETHOS isn't for everyone. If your child cannot hold up to the Academic / Behavioral standards of the Academy, (Failing Classes) they risk being removed from the program.
